USB flash drives are recognized automatically when they are plugged in. They may be encrypted with dm-crypt or TrueCrypt in order to allow a secure data transfer to other computers or to save backups.
dm-crypt/LUKS encrypted USB flash drives are detected automatically and are mounted after entering the proper passphrase.
You can manage Truecrypt, Veracrypt and dm-crypt/LUKS encrypted container/patitions with "zuluCrypt". It is possible to create, mount and umount container files or devices and open the filemanager by a click with your right mouse button in the main window of "zuluCrypt". You may use a passphrase or a key file to protect your data. Truecrypt hidden volumes are supported too.
Veracrypt is a sucessor of Truecrypt. It fixes some issues, which were discovered by Truecrypt audit. Container created with Verycrypt are not compatible with Truecrypt but offer the same features like hidden volumes, multiple encryption and so on.
Hint: Veracrypt uses "sudo". The program is only available if a password for system adminstration was set at startup.
