Komo (Hawaiian for "enter") is a database template or bootstrap client user interface customized specifically for use with PostgreSQL. It is written in Java with the Eclipse Rich Client Platform (RCP) and provides the basic application framework, database connection tools, and some niceties available with RCP such as a help system and this welcome screen. Adapting Komo for a specific application is a straightforward process of replacing the branding items (graphics and titles), editing or replacing the help and welcome items, customizing the program preferences, and adding application-specific features such as editors and reports.
