The user should have basic knowledge about Eclipse to fully utilize the features of the log viewer.
The basic workflow when using the TITAN Log Viewer is:
The TITAN Log Viewer perspectve should be active when working with the TITAN Log Viewer.
A project is a directory with a given name that contains a collection of files and folders. To be able to examine the log files, they must be associated with a project.
Select the file from the file system to examine.
Extract all test cases included in the selected log file.
Open the message sequence chart for a test case.
View the details about an event in the message sequence chart. The representation is either as a graphical tree view or as indented text, depending on the settings in the General Settings.
Quickly navigate from the event in the message sequence chart to the related place in the TITAN textual log file.
It is possible for each user to change settings in the tool by using the setting options in the User Configuration.
